Paul has been involved in Qualcomm's automotive telematics business activities for more than a decade and has been instrumental in facilitating the selection of Qualcomm's technology products by telematics system developers and automakers around the globe. He has also developed a broad understanding of the healthcare industry and led Qualcomm's foray into that space by partnering with a diagnostic services company who introduced the first wide area wireless enabled cardiac health diagnostic service in 2004. More recently Paul has turned his attention to promulgating the realization of a broad class of personal "telemetry" devices for use in health, fitness, wellness and personal safety solutions. He refers to this application of wireless technology as "personal telematics" and further defines it as a combination of LBS and physiological data monitoring. |

Richard’s experience of location services spans over 20 years, originally working for IBM in the deployment of freight and logistics tracking systems. Creativity Software supplies mobile network operators with location infrastructure and applications software. Their portfolio of products has been in service since 2002, with customers in Europe, South America, Africa and the Middle East. Richard was part of the working party that developed the Code of Practice that governs people tracking services in the UK. |

In 2006 John moved to the parent company, France Telecom Group, and now works in Group Innovation Marketing on LBS issues. He is responsible for engagement with all the Group’s European countries on LBS topics and specialises in LBS + communities. |
